Conversation in my office. someone comes in with some papers. second person asks if she is wearing perfume. First person responds in the affirmative. then asks me a question about the docs. Second person then asks
"what is it"
first one responds, on her way out the door,
"legal papers"
second one asks
"that's the name of the perfume?"
Who's on first?
As members of a large office team, there's bound to be some natural born dummkopfs, or DUM DUMS. Imagine if "who" from 2nd and "I don't know" from 3rd would have been part of the question/answer conversation?? Too much to imagine!
