Dark

Listening to the Yankee game. This time, it was the sidekick, who commented " It's pouring, like it did last night, but it is lighter". To which the great one replied.

"because it was night last night, and now its day".

I wonder who is having an effect on who over there.

  1. that is so inane. this is actually a misplaced modifier. Was he saying "it is raining outside, but the rain is lighter"? or that "it is raining outside but at least it is also lighter outside"? The "great one" obviously thought he meant the second one. But it still makes you shake your head.
