Books

There was a discussion going on in my office about the Harry Potter series. Up pops Sir Annoyus " I like Curious George and the Berenstain Bears"

I am not sure he was kidding.

    I hate the berenstein bears. the father always appears as an idiot. curious george is ok, if you don't analyze it too much and then realize that the monkey (or "kid") is obnoxious, doesn't follow rules, and then redeems himself by some unrelated act which negates the bad he just did.

    My son's Rebbi just had a class discussion on the Berenstain Bears and how it is not a good example on how to run a (torah) home.
